Coach Dorrer’s Coaching Philosophy is to guide our athletes to achieve success by providing personalized and individualized coaching with emphasis on current scientific methods of performance training and regular communication with the athlete.  Getting athletes to the start line physically and mentally prepared to cross the finish line in their best time is her goal!  

Matt McGoey

Elite / PRO Triathlete

USAT L1 Triathlon & Multisport Coach


  • Ranked 13 USA and top 200 elite male in World Triathlon rankings 2024
  • 3x Age Group National Champion at the 2022 USAT Multisport Nationals in super sprint, sprint draft-legal triathlon, and duathlon events
  • 4-year division 1 swimmer and 3x school record holder at Bucknell University


Matt began competing in triathlons from ages 9 - 14 and rediscovered his passion for multisport at age 22 after finishing collegiate swimming career. 


With guidance and training from Coach Dorrer, Matt earned his USAT draft-legal elite license in March 2022. Since then, he has competed in multiple World Triathlon sanctioned events as an elite athlete and has lots more on the schedule for 2024.  Matt has also competed in Xterra EX2 Rocky Gap, Challenge Cancun 70.3, and 2022 USAT Multisport Nationals where he was a 3x age group champion in all the events he was registered! 

 

Matt is experienced in guiding both youth and age-group athletes to realize their potential in swimming.  He is excited to build upon his prior success as an athlete and coach with E2P. A lifelong learner, he continuously strives to refine his coaching methodologies for all three sports, as well as his understanding of nutrition, strength, and recovery principles. Matt believes in finding balance in training and life.  

Kevin Perkins

USAT L1 Triathlon & Multisport Coach


  • 19 IM 140.6 finishes including Kona World Championship 2018, Lake Placid (12), Maryland (5) and Boulder (1)
  • 19 IM 70.3 finishes including the 2010 World Championship, Eagleman 70.3 (11) and New Orleans 70.3 (7)

A retired FBI agent, Kevin has gone from chasing down criminals to chasing his two young grandsons, and helping athletes chase down their personal best!  With 19 Ironman 140.6 and 70.3 distance finishes, he has the experience to make it happen! 


Kevin has a lot of stories to share including an incredible comeback in 2024 to finish his 12th IM Lake Placid after a serious bike crash at IM Coeur d'Alene that almost prevented him from ever racing again.  Overcoming injury and fear, he was highlighted as the IM feature athlete and finished IMLP in under 17 hours.  Seeing what he went through to make that happen is inspiring.  


In addition to coaching teens in TRI Game Sports (a program offered through E2P's non-profit organization, Fit 2 B Kids), Kevin enjoys working with athletes eager to learn and eager to get across a finish line. His experience will make yours all the better!  

Andrew Frommer

USAT Associate Certified Coach

When Coach Andrew is not crushing it at cycling nationals, he dedicated to helping athletes achieve their personal best in triathlon, cycling, and other endurance sports. He currently coaches E2P Elite Jr athletes as well as age group athletes of all levels.


As a Robotics PhD student at the University of Maryland, he applies a scientific approach to coaching, focusing on personalized training that incorporates the latest research in performance optimization.  With a competitive background spanning multiple disciplines, Andrew successfully coaches athletes across a range of levels, providing them with the tools and guidance they need to excel. His coaching philosophy focuses on balancing physical conditioning and mental preparation to ensure his athletes are well-equipped to perform at their peak on race day.

Doctor Beth Lynch

Beth's love of sports has been lifelong including swimming, golf, softball, cycling, tennis and eventually triathlon.  She started participating in triathlons as an adult and has been getting stronger across the finish line for over 10 years.  She has participated in all distances up to and including 70.3 where she made the podium in Atlantic City and made Team USAT in 2024 in the long course aquabike!


As a doctor in psychology, Beth is particularly interested in the science behind data and exploring new platforms for training to optimize potential.   


Beth is passionate about helping people reach their potential.  She spent 6 years working with Veterans recovering from amputations and/or other war injuries through the Ride to Recovery Program at Walter Reed and believes that exercise is a primary factor in health and wellbeing.

Heather Brown

With over 50 multi-sport finishes—including two full Ironman races—Heather is an accomplished triathlete and dedicated coach who combines proven results with a passion for helping athletes thrive. With a background in training and development, she has spent years guiding people in building skills, resilience, and confidence in sport and life.

Drawing on experience as an executive coach and teaching children, Heather excels at breaking down complex skills into approachable steps and tailoring her approach to meet athletes where they are. From beginners to seasoned competitors, she emphasizes clarity, structure, and plenty of encouragement.


Heather takes a holistic approach, blending physical training, mental preparation, and lifestyle balance. Her philosophy is simple: sustainable progress, a love of movement, and growth at every level. Through proven methods and personalized guidance, she helps athletes reach their goals while staying healthy, motivated, and inspired.

A lifelong endurance athlete and thrill-seeker, triathlon has been central to Coach Tyler’s life since childhood. Growing up in an athletic family, he watched his parents cross Ironman finish lines year after year—and now races alongside them, pushing limits of youth vs. experience.


Off the racecourse, Tyler chases adventures worldwide: finishing New Zealand’s 40-mile Milford Track in under 12 hours, a 13-day trek across the Swiss Alps, and even reaching Everest Base Camp at age 11. Fearless in both adventure and coaching, he brings lessons in resilience, goal-setting, and joy in the sport to every athlete he trains. Coach Tyler’s mission: help athletes of all ages reach the start line confident, prepared, and excited for the journey ahead.

 As an accomplished endurance athlete, coach, and former medical doctor, Ying brings a unique, evidence-based approach to training that combines scientific rigor with a deep understanding of human anatomy and physiology. Her medical background gives her a comprehensive understanding of the human body, allowing Ying to approach training with a deep knowledge of injury prevention, recovery, and performance optimization.


Ying focuses on blending smart, individualized training plans with strength conditioning to help athletes build resilience, minimize injury risks, and enjoy the process.   Her coaching philosophy is centered on creating a personalized experience for each athlete, ensuring they not only achieve their goals but also develop a lasting passion for running.

Coach Franca is dedicated to improving people’s health, fitness and performance through swimming and strength. As a former NCAA Division 1 Collegiate swimmer, Franca is a lifelong fitness enthusiast, having also competed in natural bodybuilding, adventure races, and triathlon. She is passionate about helping adults of all fitness levels lead healthy lifestyles. Franca has taught swimming lessons since she was 16 years old and has helped fitness, competitive, and open water triathlon swimmers improve their performance and achieve their goals.
