Elite/PRO & JR Elite Training

Endurance 2 Perform offers superior coaching and training for elite/pro athletes racing to compete in WTO, Ironman, Challenge, Super League, or other pro level racing events.  E2P also provides superior coaching and training for athletes seeking to attain the next level in racing for NCAA recruitment, to earn a pro card, or for national championships. Our Junior team is a USAT High Performance Development Team.

ELITE / PRO

Elite Level Training

Coach Dorrer has experience taking elite athletes to the next level in their racing career.  Knowing what an athlete needs to do to excel requires personal knowledge of the athlete, their goals, the racing format, and how the pipeline works to make it to the top. Coach Dorrer trains U.S. Olympic hopeful athletes ranking in the top 20 on the WTO and those aspiring to stand on long course podiums.

There is a selection process for training with Coach Dorrer at this level. Sponsorship may be available. Inquire by emailing christina@endurance2perform.com  

  • Program pipeline and race scheduling
  • Physical assessments:  strength, mobility, corrective exercise
  • Swim / Bike / Run benchmark testing
  • Swim / Bike / Run video analysis
  • In person and virtual coached training sessions

JR Development / Elite "Day Camp" Training - Annapolis 2025

For athletes ages 14-18 who are registered to participate in an Elite Development or draft legal event in 2025.


Spend a day or weekend with L3 Coach Dorrer and elite/pro coaches and athletes in Annapolis in preparation for a key event.  


April 26 - 27, 2025

11am - 3pm 

$200  (E2P coached athletes should register directly with Coach Dorrer for discount) 

  

Open water skills practice

Stroke development session 

Run drills / skills practice

Cycling skills clinic

Draft legal practice riding

Transition practice

Fueling for training and racing

Preventing injuries

Strength & stretch training

Mental skills development

Learn the development pathways in triathlon


Athletes are required to bring 

  • All relevant equipment and clothing for training. 
  • Pack your own lunch and fueling bottles/nutrition. 
  • Swim: pull buoy, fins, 2 pairs of goggles, swim cap, paddles 
  • Bike: helmet (no cracked helmets), bike shoes, pump, spare tubes, tire levers
  • Not mandatory but desirable a heart rate monitor and a power meter device
  • Running shoes (one with elastic laces and a second pair if possible)
  • Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses
  • Notebook (paper) with pen/pencil

Junior Elite - HIGH PERFORMANCE DEVELOPMENT TEAM

ENDURANCE 2 PERFORM IS AN OFFICIAL 

USAT HIGH-PERFORMANCE DEVEOPMENT TEAM!


The E2P Development Team is for:

  • athletes ages 13-18 
  • athletes who want to train because they love to compete!
  • athletes who attend local events, nationals, or elite development races 


E2P HPDT Requirements & Expectations

  • This program requires the athlete to be actively engaged in the training and WANTS to attend because they love it!
  • HPDT members love to race and will attend local triathlons and, if possible, regional and national events while representing E2P.
  • Team uniform required - purchased separately (estimated $180)
  • Elite team athletes will meet with Coach Dorrer and E2P elite coaches 1-3 times per month.  Most in the Rockville and Annapolis area.
  • Attend open water swim trainings with the coach near Annapolis area.
  • Required to incorporate training on their own by following a training plan which can include swim team, track, cycling, and other team sport programs they participate in. 
  • Requires the use of a Garmin or other data device to load swim, bike, run data into the training plan.
  • Access to Training Peaks Virtual, Zwift, Trainer Road or similar bike app is recommended for bike training and required for 13+.
  • Regular feedback on workouts in their training diary is provided by the coach 1-2x weekly feedback from the coach for the athlete on their progress via Training Peaks.


Scholarships for select athletes available on a financial need basis only.
